Ephrata PD

April 11

Report of a subject moving cones around a construction site in the 200 block of Nat Washington Way.

April 15

Report of a burglary on Basin Street Northwest. Unknown subjects had pried open the front door and taken knives, speakers and medication.

Report of a mailbox struck in the 14000 block of Empire Road Northwest.

April 16

Report of fishing tackle stolen from a business in the 1300 block of Nat Washington Way.

April 17

Report of a male subject yelling and screaming and behaving strangely in the 10 block of Alder Street Northwest. Subject told law enforcement he was hearing voices and requested a ride to the hospital because he needed a Valium and a sandwich. Subject was transported to Columbia Basin Hospital.

April 12

Isabell Essie Suarez, 28, Moses Lake, booked on a two-day DUI commitment.

Aiden Hunter Thompson, 22, Ephrata, booked on assault with a firearm, as well as three Grant County District Court warrants.

April 13

Dane S. Johnson, 19, Ephrata, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Elijah Trevon Ray McClendon, 21, Moses Lake, booked on felony eluding and DUI.

Christine M. Richardson, 52, Yakima, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Ruben Rivera Cortez, 27, Sunnyside, booked on telephone harassment – domestic violence and third-degree theft.

April 14

Anthony Huitron, 25, Othello, booked on DUI and second-degree driving with license suspended.

Alejandro Salas, 30, Mattawa, booked on a Grant County District Court warrant relating to DUI.

Adriana Garza Salas, 43, Warden, booked n a protection order violation.

April 16

Andres Espino, 41, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence and a Department of Corrections warrant.

Jenny May Oneel, 43, Ephrata, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief – domestic violence.

Jose Lozano Barroso, 61,m Ezst Wenatchee, booked on leading organized crime and first-degree professional gambling.

Eliazar Junior Ramos, 45, Moses Lake, booked on a Department of Corrections warrant.

Lizbeth Giselle Alvarez, 31, Sedro-Woolley, booked on second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

April 17

Derek Matthew Clark, 30, Soap Lake, booked on second-degree assault, resisting arrest and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

Cruz Jesus Terrazas Barrera, 34, Quincy, booked on attempted residential burglary – domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief – domestic violence.

Monique Chontelle Shilling Parks, 33, Quincy, booked on violation of a protection order – domestic violence.

Moses Lake PD

April 12

Report of an unknown male subject breaking the locked cover of an electrical outlet at a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way, then using it to charge his electronic devices. The subject took the cover with him when he left after charging.

Report of a vehicle broken into on West Cascade Avenue. A Glock 43, an AR-15 and a camera drone were taken.

Report of a chicken trespassing in a yard on Bluff West Drive. The chicken fled before an officer arrived.

Report of clothing stolen from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way. The suspect was located and the property recovered.

Report of a shed lock cut and two gas cans stolen from a church in the 800 block of East Sharon Avenue.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at West Broadway Avenue and South Ash Street. 

Report of a collision between a school bus and another vehicle in the 400 block of North Paxson Drive. The bus was undamaged, but the other vehicle sustained damage to the left rear bumper step molding. No injuries were reported.

Report of juveniles concealing merchandise in their pockets at a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. The juveniles were stopped and released to their mother.

Report of an autistic 7-year-old child who had left home on foot and couldn’t be located. Officers checked the area and the child was found and returned home by a citizen. The child had lost his shoes and electronic tablet, but the shoes were later recovered.

April 13

Report of a single-vehicle collision on North Grape Drive. Subject was arrested for DUI, cited and released to a family member.

Report of a hit-and-run collision in the 200 block of South Ash Street. The driver who fled turned herself in to police two days later.

April 14

Report of a juvenile walking alone in the area of South Pioneer Way and East Hill Avenue. Officers located the juvenile’s residence on east Alderwood Drive and it was determined that the juvenile had jumped out of his bedroom window when put in time out. Juvenile’s mother was notified and said she will make adjustments to the window to prevent further escapes.

Report of a male subject yelling in a business in the 400 block of East Broadway Avenue. Subject attempted to cut his hair with fire and was trespassed.

April 15

Report of a car seat and phone charger stolen out of a vehicle on West Ivy Avenue.

Report of graffiti on a door at North Elementary School. A bullet was also found at the school.

Report of graffiti on a fence on East Marquis Avenue.

Report of $300-$400 in cash stolen from an apartment on South Balsam Street.

Report of fishing tackle valued at about $1,500, a backpack valued at $200 and three firearms stolen fro a vehicle on North Mary Street.

Report of shoes valued at $59.99 stolen from a business in the 900 block of North Stratford Road. The suspects were later found and the shoes returned.

Report of a firearm stolen from a residence on North Dune Road while its owner was out of town for medical treatment.

April 16

Report of a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle at Hansen Road Northeast and North Frontage Road East. The motorcyclist was checked by paramedics at the scene.

Report of a vehicle prowl in the 800 block of East Wheeler Road. A makeup bag containing prescription medication was taken.

Report of a vehicle prowl on West Marina Drive. A credit card scanner, two iPads and tools were taken.

Report of an attempted burglary on North Grape Drive. Unknown subject attempted to pry the screen off an apartment window.

Report of juveniles spraying other juveniles with a fire extinguisher. One of the victims was taken to the emergency room.

Report of food stolen from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way.

Report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Fishing reels valued at $688.11 were stolen. Officer stopped the suspect’s vehicle at Stratford Road and Highland Drive and recovered the merchandise.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision in the 1800 block of East Kittelson Road. Driver 1 was stopped at a red light and accidentally shifted into reverse instead of drive, backing into vehicle 2.

April 17

Report of a two-vehicle collision at West Valley Road and North Grape Drive. Both drivers were injured and seen by paramedics; one driver was transported to Samaritan Hospital.

Report of theft from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way.

Report of attempted theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.
