Ephrata PD

April 5

Report of graffiti on the sidewalk at Frey Road and Eighth Avenue Northwest.

Report of a burglary in the 10 block of B Street Northeast. Guns were stolen from the victim’s bedroom. A suspect was located and taken into custody without incident.

Report of one employee punching another at a business in the 1300 block of Nat Washington Way.

April 6

Report of a vehicle prowl in the 10 block of E Street Northeast. The vehicle’s center console appeared to have been gone through but nothing was missing.

Report of attempted theft at a business in the 1100 block of Basin Street Southwest. Male subject selected about $500 worth of merchandise, left the cart at the door and did not return.

April 9

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision in the 1100 block of Basin Street Southwest.

April 10

Report of a vehicle stolen in the 1100 block of C Street Southwest.

Report of a vehicle prowl in the 2400 block of Basin Street Southwest. Unknown subject had entered the vehicle and punched out the ignition, but no items had been taken.

Report of an air compressor valued at approximately $100 stolen from a garage on Lee Street Southeast.

Sherman Roger Rowland, 63, Ephrata, booked on residential burglary – domestic violence, theft of a firearm, first-degree theft and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Jaimi Maria Nichole Ahalt, 29, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Abraham Chris Gueller, 58, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Luke Anthony Shelton, 42, Moses Lake, booked on residential burglary – domestic violence and violation of a no-contact order.

April 6

Sean Christian Craig, 38, Electric City, booked on harassment.

Jesus Cota Guzman, 44, Moses Lake, booked on DUI.

April 7

Celia Ann Williams, 66, Moses Lake, booked on first-degree assault – domestic violence.

Jesse Jay Oliver, 57, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence and interfering with reporting domestic violence.

April 9

Hunter Barak Grant, 24, Moses Lake, booked on second-degree vehicle prowl.

Adolfo Chavez Moso, 28., Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Perry D. New, 36, Ephrata, booked on criminal mischief while armed with a deadly weapon, as well as a Grant County District Court warrant relating to violation of a no-contact order.

April 10

Ian Joseph Eller, 32, Moses Lake, booked on second-degree malicious mischief.

Robert Kenneth Vone, 57, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief – domestic violence.

Levi Dean Rustman, 18, Moses Lake, transferred from Chelan County juvenile due to turning 18.

April 4

Report of a stolen vehicle spotted on West Peninsula Drive. When officers arrived, the vehicle was running and occupied by two unknown subjects. The subjects fled when officers approached the vehicle. The vehicle was later found abandoned near Patton Boulevard and Turnkey Road. The suspects were not located or identified.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at East Wheeler Road and South Canterbury Lane. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.

Report of three unknown juveniles kicking and damaging the front door of a residence on East Grace Taylor Street.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at the intersection of West Mart Road and North Stratford Roads. Vehicle 1 ran a red light and struck vehicle 2 in the intersection.

April 5

Report of a vehicle tire slashed on South Trillium Way.

Report of a male and a female subject stealing items, then returning them for cash at a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

April 6

Report of a hit-and-run collision at Stratford Road and Kinder Road Northeast. Vehicle 1 was making a U-turn when it collided with vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 then left the scene.

Report of a house being egged on West Knolls Vista Drive. Reporting party believed eggs came from the neighbor directly behind the residence. 

April 8

Report of graffiti on a storage container at Lakeview Terrace Elementary School.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at West Pine Drive and North Central Drive.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at West Valley Road and North Stratford Road.

Report of a computer and $240 stolen out of a vehicle in the 800 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of shoplifting at a business in the 2700 block of West Broadway Avenue.

Report of a basket full of merchandise stolen from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

April 9

Report of machinery and buildings shot at on a work site on Wheeler Road Northeast.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at East Kittelson and South Maiers roads.

Report of an assault and theft on South Pioneer Way. Reporting party said an older man identified only as “Boss Man” used bear mace on him and stole a bicycle valued at $1,500. 

April 10

Report of a vehicle prowl on West Texas Street. 

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision in the 900 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of attempted theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of a transient male walking around carrying a knife and a squirrel in the 500 block of South Pioneer Way. Officers contacted the male and asked him to drop the knife; he put the knife in his pocket and walked away. The male was reported a short time later carrying the squirrel through Civic Center Park. His identity and origin were unknown.
