VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY The City of Moses Lake has one vacancy on the Civil Service Commission. The purpose of the Committee is to maintain regulations of RCW 41.08 and 41.02 concerning, but not limited to, the selection, appointment, and employment of Fire and Police personnel. The Civil Service Commission is composed of three members appointed by the City Manager. To qualify, members must reside within the corporate limits of the City for at least the three preceding years, be a U.S. citizen, and a registered voter within Grant County. A full-term for these positions is six years, at which time one can request to be considered for a reappointment. This vacancy is for an unexpired term scheduled to end December 31, 2025.
