Tigers win in three against East Valley
EPHRATA — The Tigers improved to 2-0 in the Central Washington Athletic Conference with a win over East Valley (Yakima) on Tuesday, sweeping the Red Devils in three sets on the road.
Ephrata won the first set 25-19, the second set 25-10 and the third set 25-20.
Senior Addison Mills led the Tigers in kills (12), with junior Natania Vela and Addyson Hines both recording six kills each. Junior Chloe Ho led Ephrata in both aces (four) and digs (12), while four Tigers tied for a team-high in blocks with one each; Hines, junior Alixandria Helaas, junior MiKayla Ohl and junior Sienna Addink. Hines also recorded a team-high 31 assists in Tuesday’s win.
After Thursday’s home match against Grandview, the Tigers travel to Prosser for a league contest Tuesday.
