Lindsay Groce spent the entirety of the spring quarter abroad in Europe studying the history of science. She hopes to bring her passion for the topic to a new course at Big Bend Community College in the spring semester of 2024.

Big Bend Community College Instructor Lindsay Groce did a three-day short course through the Warburg Institute during her spring sabbatical on reading and translating medieval Latin manuscripts.
One of Lindsay Groce’s favorite parts of her sabbatical was when she was in Cambridge and went on a tour of the Whipple History of Science Museum with a local professor, Dr. Seb Falk, who teaches a variety of subjects, including History.
MOSES LAKE — Big Bend Community College Chemistry Instructor Lindsay Groce recently returned from her sabbatical in Europe. Drawing on experiences from her travels, she plans to create a new course to be offered at Big Bend in the spring of 2024.
