| September 26, 2023 12:14 PM

Beverly Gladys "Bev" Laam, 90, a long-time Moses Lake resident, peacefully passed at her home Dec. 12, 2022. She was surrounded by her family at her side.

Bev was born Sept. 22, 1932. She married Richard "Dick" Laam in Spokane, Wash., on Dec. 16, 1950. In 1953, they moved to Moses Lake and built a lifetime of memories together, which included 45 years of marriage. Dick passed in 1995.

Another high point of those memories was family. She immensely enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Bev is survived by four sons: Steve (Kit) of Corvallis, Ore., Mike (Judy) of Grants Pass, Ore., Rick (Jeri) of Orofino, Idaho. and Bob (Marcie) of Spokane, Wash.; one daughter, Linda (Jeff) Dowland of Moses Lake; nine grandchildren: Scott Laam, Michelle Laam, Tina Cafferty, Holli Hamilton, Lisa Sawyer, Leslie Laam, Laura Bartholomew, Eric Laam and Janet Clarke; 17 great-grandchildren: Baylee, Harlee, Kinlee, Alex, Amber, Kellen, Taylor, Tanner, Megan, Tyler, Kaylee, Fox, Sylvia, Micayla, Austin, Aenea and Bree; three great-great-grandchildren: Daivee, Crew and Drew.

Bev's enthusiasm for family inspired those around her to embrace every moment with joy and gratitude. She will be deeply missed and will live forever in our hearts. We celebrate a life well lived.

The family had a private celebration for her this past weekend.
