BASIN SPORTS RECAP: Eight teams reach top-10 in WIAA’s RPI
Royal’s 48-7 win over Zillah on Friday pushed the Knights to 3-0 to begin the 2023 season. The Knights were No. 8 in the 1A classification in the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association’s Ratings Percentage Index on Wednesday.

Wahluke girls soccer improved to 3-1-1 with a win over La Salle on Tuesday, while Quincy won its third-straight game on Tuesday with a 9-0 win over Warden.
Moses Lake football reached No. 2 in the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association’s Ratings Percentage Index on Wednesday for the 4A classification.
