The weather was perfect for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Saturday morning in Moses Lake. Event organizer Karisti Cox said the event and the Colors of Hope activity Friday both went in a “flawless” manner. More coverage of the event will be in an upcoming edition of the Columbia Basin Herald after organizers have had time to tally results.

Monday: Patchy blowing dust after 5 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. Light west wind increasing to 11 to 16 mph in the morning. Patchy blowing dust before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51 in the evening Breezy, with a northwest wind 11 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
