WENATCHEE — Suzanne Carte-Cocroft has been named the new vice president of philanthropy for Confluence Health.
“While a new title, this new vice president position replaces the role previously held by the foundation executive trustee, a position that works to lead and guide the Confluence Health Foundation,” wrote Adam MacDonald, Confluence corporate communications manager, in a press release.
MacDonald wrote that Noah Abel, the current executive trustee for the foundation, will retire in January 2024.
Carte-Cocroft was most recently the foundation president and chief philanthropy officer for the Providence Alaska Foundation, Anchorage, Alaska. She has more than 25 years' experience with nonprofit organizations, MacDonald wrote. She is originally from Alaska.
“The foundation is looking forward to Suzanne joining the organization and bringing with her years of experience in developing lasting relationships with donors and empowering her team to support local health systems and communities,” wrote Steven Nehr, president of the foundation’s board of trustees.
“The foundation is the philanthropic arm of Confluence Health,” MacDonald wrote.
The foundation was established in 1978.
