Linda Marie Lesser

Linda Marie (Knopp) Lesser went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 12, 2023, at the age of 70.

Born on Aug. 25, 1953, to Melvin and Maureen Knopp, Linda grew up on the family farm near Marlin, Wash., until her family moved to Leslieville, Alberta, Canada, when she was 13.

While visiting family in Washington, Linda reconnected with what would become the love of her life, Ron Lesser. After marrying Ron in 1980, Linda returned to Marlin as a homemaker. It was here that Ron and Linda raised their two children Holly and Wade and enjoyed life on the family farm. Linda had a gift of creativity and enjoyed all types of crafts. As much as she enjoyed her many roles, she loved the role of being “Grandma” best. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly and were blessed to know her.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Maureen Knopp. She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Ron Lesser, daughter Holly (Brent) Finkbeiner, son Wade Lesser, five grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Heritage Church in Odessa, Wash., with a reception following at the Odessa Community Center.
