Jose Mel Martinez

Longtime Moses Lake resident Jose Mel Martinez passed away at the age of 62.

Mr. Martinez was a kind and selfless man who cared for his elderly father and deeply loved his family as well as his country. He was a staunch supporter of local law enforcement and the military and donated generously to organizations serving those men and women. Always concerned for his fellow man, Mr. Martinez never ignored anyone in need and always made himself available to those needing assistance.

Jose Martinez is survived by a loving family and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 27, 2023, at Pioneer Memorial Cemetery, 14403 Road 2 NE, Moses Lake, Wash.
