CITY OF MOSES LAKE PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Moses Lake Planning Commission at 6:00 pm on November 9,2023 in the City Council Chambers, 401 S. The ask is that the dock be 8’ wide, the width will be handicapped accessible with an easily accessible walkway with a railing. The Shoreline Master Plan explains that docks shall be 4’ wide, or if wider then be made of grating that allows for a minimum of 40% light transmission through the decking material. The next request is that the dock is 35’ in length as to achieve a depth of 3 ½ feet. For private docks they should not extend more than 1/3 the width of the navigable waterway. They shall be limited to the minimum length necessary to reach a water depth of 3’ at the end of the dock. Or limited to 25’ in length, whichever is greater.
