Cora Marie Bringman (Dorszynski)
Cora Marie Bringman (Dorszynski), 57, of Kennewick, Wash., passed Monday, Aug. 21, in Pasco, Wash.
Cora was born Jan. 3, 1966, to Irene and Edward Dorszynski Sr. in Moses Lake, Wash., where she was raised and lived throughout high school. She was homecoming queen at Moses Lake High School, graduating in 1984.
She left three beautiful children she loved and adored, Lewis Gans Sr (Kristen), Chelsea Dorszynski and Cami Newman, and seven wonderful grandchildren, Grace, Klare, Lewis Jr., Gage, Landon, Charlee and Virgil. She was expecting a new granddaughter in January 2024.
Cora was a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was an enthusiastic cook, gardener and gift-giver, and loved to bake for church gatherings. She was a professional chef for the past year of her life.
She loved the Lord — no matter where she was or what she was doing, she would stop to praise and pray for those in need. She constantly spoke of how awesome our God is!
Beneath her long battle with addiction, she was love-centered and wanted nothing more than to be a loving mother and grandmother.
She will forever be remembered for her big heart, her passion for the Lord and the love and compassion she had for others.
Cora was preceded in death by her father, Edward Lee Dorszynski Sr., stepfather Ervin Gans Jr., Lewis Gonzalez and her beloved aunt, Janice Dorszynski.
Along with her children and grandchildren, she is also survived by her mother, Irene Gans of Quincy, sister Valda Sarty (Stacey) of Quincy, brother Edward Dorszynski Jr. of San Deigo, Calif., and stepdaughter McKenna Bringman.
Please join family and friends for a memorial service Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. at Grace Harvest Church, 313 Fig St., Moses Lake, Wash.
