Basin athletes earn all-league awards
Moses Lake senior Kyson Thomas (5) was named the Columbia Basin Big 9’s MVP and received first-team all-league honors at wide receiver, defensive back and returner.

Ephrata senior Addison Mills was the Central Washington Athletic Conference’s Player of the Year during the 2023 season.
Royal junior Lance Allred (11) earned first-team all-league honors as a quarterback and a linebacker and brought home the South Central Athletic Conference (East)’s Offensive Player of the Year award.
Lind-Ritzville/Sprague sophomore Zoe Galbreath (1) was a co-MVP in the Northeast 2B league.
Othello junior Mason Perez (50) was the Central Washington Athletic Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year this fall.
Quincy junior Crystal Vargas (9) was one of six Jackrabbit girls soccer players to receive all-league honors.
Warden junior Lauren Chamberlain, middle, received second-team all-league honors with the Cougar volleyball team this fall.
Wilson Creek senior Izzie Hochstatter (6) was one of three Devils that earned all-league honors this fall.
Wahluke junior Maria Barajas was one of two Warriors to earn first-team all-league honors.
Almira/Coulee-Hartline senior John Pierce (53) and Carter Pitts (11) both received first-team all-league honors this fall.
Seven Soap Lake players – including junior Jairo Lopez, left – earned all-league awards.
