Valentine White
Valentine Chamberlain-White, 64, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 16, 2023, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, where she was surrounded by her loved ones. “Val” was a long-time resident of Moses Lake and a current resident of Plummer, Idaho where she lived with her youngest son Scott and adopted daughter Stacey Issler (Sam).
Valentine was born Feb. 14, 1959, to Clarence and Margaret Chamberlain, in Havre, Mont. It was there that Clarence and Margaret raised their four children. After graduating High School in Moses Lake, Wash. Valentine furthered her education and went on to college at Big Bend where she received her Associate Degree.
Valentine was a devoted mother, grandmother, auntie, sister and friend. She dedicated her life to raising her three children Christopher, Felicia and Scott whom she shared with Gerauld Stephens and Rick White.
She was a dedicated and hardworking individual, excelling in her career as an accountant and administrative assistant at The Home Center in Moses Lake. She was an active member of various clubs, including the Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge, where she served as Senior Regent. She also worked as an administrative assistant at both of those establishments.
Valentine loved crafting and making gifts for her family and friends. She also enjoyed camping, boating, and being a Scentsy consultant. She recently discovered a passion for shooting a bow.
Spending time with her friends, family and her dog, Lucy, brought her much joy.
Valentine was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews.
She is survived by her children, Christopher Stephens, Searcy, Ariz.; Felicia Stephens (Troy Hughs), Moses Lake, Wash.; and Scott White, Plummer, Idaho. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Sierra, Kaitlyn, Dalaney, Kelliann, Sebastian, Benjamin, Gerald (JJ) and Rosco. She is also survived by her siblings, Peggy Zeeb (Rolf), Highwood, Mont.; Myrna Chamberlain, St. Maries, Idaho; and Ed Chamberlain (Rosalee), Moses Lake, Wash.; nieces Rachael Zeeb-Murphy, Robin Vroman, Leslie Hyatt, Andrea Bray and Rachael Chamberlain, great-nieces, nephews and several cousins, as well as all of her adopted kids that still call her mom. She had an extensive close family who all loved her dearly. Valentine also had a special place in her heart for her adopted daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Sam Issler, and their children in Plummer, Idaho.
Valentine lived a life full of love, laughter and kindness. She cherished every moment spent with her family. She had so much love and compassion for others. She had such a beautiful soul and was known for her selflessness and kind heart. She always put others before herself. Her warm smile and gentle nature touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
No memorial service will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
