Armando Feliz Benavidez, Jr.
Armando Feliz Benavidez Jr, 22, gained his angel wings Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023.
Armando was born March 7, 2001, to Christina Cruz and Armando Benavidez Sr. in Moses Lake, Wash.
In 2019, he proudly graduated from Moses Lake High School. Shortly after graduation, Armando and Mariela Zavala welcomed their first baby girl, Mila Benavidez. A year later, they were blessed with their second princess, Ava Benavidez. Armando was a loving dad; his girls meant the world to him; they were his pride and joy.
Mando was a hard worker with a work-hard, play-hard attitude. In his free time, he liked to go fishing with friends and spent as much time as he could with his family. Annual vacation trips to the ocean were his favorite. He had a passion for cooking and enjoyed making meals for his family, especially breakfast.
Mando was an amazing father, son, brother, tio, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend. He was the protector of his siblings. He was true to himself, always respectful and loyal to those he was close to. Everyone who knew him knew they could always count on him.
He will always be remembered for his gorgeous smile, contagious laugh and being the life of the party. You would always find him with a "Piña Chela" in his hand ready to have a good time.
He is survived by his two beautiful daughters Mila and Ava; his parents Kiki and Tim; siblings Anthony Benavidez, Nathan Cruz, Myah Cruz, Niko Cruz, and Nylayah Cruz; grandparents Rick and April Trenbeath, David Cruz and Rose Munoz; great-grandparents Guadalupe Arousa and Anita Cruz; girlfriend Gaby Benicio and numerous tios, tias and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Armando Benavidez Sr; brother Mikey Zavala; grandparents Rudy and Janie Benavidez; great-grandparents Alicia Arousa and Arturo Cruz; tios Randy Garcia Sr. and Julian Aviña Sr.; cousins Elizabeth Navarro, Isaiah Medina and Jason Munoz.
You will forever be missed, Feliz.
