Gloria Castillo

Gloria Reyna Castillo, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Nov. 2, 2023, at the age of 80.

Gloria was born to Pablo P. Reyna and Santos B. Reyna on Sept. 3, 1943, in La Feria, Texas. In 1965, she settled in Moses Lake, Wash., where she has lived ever since. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1977. 

Gloria was a homemaker who loved to bake, sew, crochet and garden. On top of that, she loved visiting and spending time with her family. Her memory will be cherished in the hearts of those who loved her and knew her.

She is survived by her two children, Sonia Montano and Joe Castillo, as well as her five grandchildren, Mario Montano, Vanessa Montano, Roberto Montano, Veronica Castillo and Little Joe Castillo, and her only great-grandchild, Audianna Ball.

A funeral service will be held  Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the LDS Church on Rose Avenue in Moses Lake, Wash. Family and friends are invited.
