Lady Vikes Place Four At EOU
MOSES LAKE — After a bumpy opening weekend for BBCC Women's Wrestling due to injuries, the Lady Vikes hoped to be healthy are ready to go as they traveled to La Grande, Ore., to compete in the Eastern Oregon Mountaineer Open on Nov. 4. Head coach Desiree Zavala made it clear that expectations were not met during opening weekend despite injuries and that they had work to do prior to the Mountaineer Open. The lady Vikes seemed to respond as they had four ladies place in the top ten, with Jhaile DeGuzman finishing in first place. Other notable finishes were Kyah Miller finishing in third place, Natalie Johnson finishing in fourth place and Emily Barragan rounding it out for the Vikings finishing in sixth place.
