Ephrata to host 2B,1B state baseball this weekend

EPHRATA – The 2B/1B State Baseball Tournament will be hosted at Ephrata High School on Friday and Saturday, the first time the school has hosted a state championship event, according to a release by the Ephrata School District.

Semifinal games for both the 2B and 1B classifications are on Friday beginning at 10 a.m., with Mount Vernon Christian taking on Liberty Christian in the 1B semifinals. State championship games and third/fourth-place games will be held on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.

Each game will begin 45 minutes after the conclusion of the previous game.

Game 1 (1B): Mount Vernon Christian vs Liberty Christian - 10 a.m.

Game 2 (1B): Naselle vs DeSales - 1 p.m.

Game 3 (2B): Adna vs Toutle Lake - 4 p.m.

Game 4 (2B): Tri-Cities Prep vs Brewster - 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 27

Game 1: 1B third/fourth-place game; Loser of Game 1 vs Loser of Game 2 - 10 a.m.

Game 2: 2B third/fourth-place game; Loser of Game 3 vs Loser of Game 4 - 1 p.m.

Game 3: 1B championship game; Winner of Game 1 vs Winner of Game 2 - 4 p.m.

Game 4: 2B championship game; Winner of Game 3 vs Winner of Game 4 - 7 p.m.
