American Legion to hold taco and nacho benefit

EPHRATA — The American Legion and Auxiliary in Ephrata will hold a dinner and auction May 20, which is also Armed Forces Day, according to an announcement from the Legion.
The event will feature a taco and nacho feed, as well as a dessert auction. Proceeds will go to benefit Inland Northwest Honor Flight, which arranges trips for veterans to visit memorials in their honor in Washington, D.C.
Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. and desserts will be auctioned over the course of the evening, according to the announcement. A video about the Honor Flight program will be shown, and there will be an opportunity for veterans to share their pictures and experiences with attendees. Applications to participate in Honor Flight will also be available.
