Nick Buckley De Benedetti, 37, passed away after a sudden illness on April 23, 2023, at Providence Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Washington with his parents at his side.
Nick was born in Moses Lake, Washington on May 6, 1985. He graduated from Moses Lake High School in 2003. Nick attended Whitworth University on an academic scholarship and graduated in 2007 with a double major in business and accounting.
Nick was working for Engie Impact in Spokane at the time of his passing. Nick loved golf, soccer, Gonzaga basketball and gaming with friends around the world. Nick especially treasured vacations with his extended family every summer. Nick was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for the entire family on vacations, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Nick enjoyed many wonderful adventures and experiences with his friends and his interactions with his Engie Impact teammates.
Nick is survived by his loving parents Camille Buckley and P J De Benedetti and his brother John. He is also survived by his aunts Pam Mildon (Dan), Melinda Buckley and Madeline Buckley (Angie Williams), Teri Watters (Paul) and Ann De Benedetti; uncles Greg Buckley (Cindy), Mike Buckley (Sandy), Mike De Benedetti (Kim) and John De Benedetti (Donna); and numerous cousins.
He was taken from us much too soon and we will miss him forever.
A private family service is being planned for this summer.
