Quincy School Board recognizes Siebert

QUINCY — Quincy School Board chair Chris Baumgartner, right, presents a plaque of appreciation to recently retired Quincy Police Department Chief Kieth Siebert at Tuesday’s board meeting. Board members recognized Siebert for his willingness, and that of QPD officers, to work with school officials.

“You hear the phrase ‘community policing’ a lot nationally,” said Quincy Superintendent Nik Bergman. And when it heard it described, it was like, ‘Well, that’s exactly what the Quincy Police Department does.’”
