Nancy Bouker
Nancy A Bouker, 84, passed away Sunday, June 25, at her daughter’s home in Royal City, Washington.
Mrs. Bouker spent the first 31 years of her married life as an Air Force wife. She traveled with and sometimes joined her husband at bases in the Philippines, England, across the United States, Italy and West Germany. She raised five children and worked in the hospitality industry as a food and beverage manager for restaurants and golf clubs, and finally as a buyer for Memorial Hospital in Broward County, Florida.
After her husband’s retirement she served alongside him during his time as a deacon with the Diocese of Miami. She especially enjoyed the RCIA classes.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Richard, as well as her daughters Mary Bevan, and Catherine (Cathy) Gerhard, her parents John and Katherine Drinkwater of Brentwood, New York, her sister Margaret (Peggy) and brother John. She is survived by her daughters Karen (John) Lasen of Royal City, Washington and Nancy (Richard) Gagnon of Grand Sirenas, Mexico; son Richard John (Tammy) of West Palm Beach, Florida; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 509 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, Florida. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Florida National Cemetery. We wish to thank Kayser’s Chapel of Memories, Moses Lake, Washington and Blount & Curry Funeral Home - MacDill Chapel, 605 S.
