Lions roar out of The Den

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Christian Academy graduating senior Jeff Boorman said his favorite memories of his time at MLCA were the bonds he was able to make with friends and classmates. Benjamin Eldred said his involved being able to play baseball with his friends.

At MLCA’s 2023 graduation ceremony, both young men and their classmates said they were excited to be moving on to new adventures in their adult lives. The aspiring entertainers, engineers, athletes, pilots and academics are the first class to utilize MLCA’s new gym, The Den, for their graduation ceremony.

Surrounded by family members and displays showing off their achievements while in school — and there were many – the 2023 Lions looked prepared to take life on and take the lessons from school into their future endeavors. Like most classes, a few of the students were simply happy to have school behind them, but many looked back on their time at the school fondly, focusing on memories with friends, teachers and their favorite sports cars.

The photos here are a small selection of what the students told the Columbia Basin Herald about their future plans and favorite memories.
