Arnold Huddleson

| June 9, 2023 11:36 AM

Arn, 80, left us in April on his own terms (as he always did) in Richland, Washington with many family members saying their goodbyes.

He was born on Oct. 16, 1942, in Tacoma, Washington to Maxine and Loren Huddleson, followed soon after by his brother Danny. Maxine moved with her boys to Soap Lake where she met and married Bob Gray who raised the boys as his own. The family grew again when his sisters Colleen and Linda were born. "Ark" attended all 12 years of school in Soap Lake, graduating as class president with the class of 1962. He excelled at sports, football and baseball, and was a state wrestling champion.

After graduating he married Pam Thomas and they had two sons, Mark and Tim. He would marry again and have a daughter Gia. Arn lived in Seattle where he worked in the auto body industry. He had a passion for classic cars and always had one he was working on at home in his spare time. He retired from M.A.Segale Construction after 25 years but he never stopped restoring and loving the classics. If there was a car show, Arn was there.

He married Alice Jerich, a former high school sweetheart, and they lived on several acres in Puyallup raising various animals and always a car in his shop that he was working on. In later years they would split their time between homes in Richland and Yuma, Arizona. He leaves behind a large extended family and many friends.

A celebration of a life well lived will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17 at The Wit at the Lakeview Golf and Country Club, five blocks from his childhood home. We welcome all who knew and loved him to share in his memory.
