RECAP: Basin teams conclude baseball, softball seasons
The Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors reached their fifth-straight tournament in 2023, ending the year with a 16-2 record.

The Royal Knights placed second in the 1A State Softball Tournament, finishing the year with a 24-3 record.
Moses Lake reached its fourth-straight state tournament, where they faced off against No. 4 Olympia in the first round.
Othello recorded its second-straight top-three finish at the 2A State Softball Tournament, placing third at the 2023 tournament in Selah.
Warden reached the state softball tournament for the fourth-consecutive season in 2023.
Quincy finished one game shy of reaching the 1A District 6/7 Crossover, falling to Chelan in the Caribou Trail League Tournament.
The Ephrata Tigers ended the season with a 16-6 record, losing to East Valley (Yakima) in the consolation final of the Central Washington Athletic Conference district tournament.

COLUMBIA BASIN – High school baseball and softball seasons across the Basin wrapped up last weekend, with four teams taking home hardware from their respective state tournaments. Read along to see how each team finished in 2023. All scores and records are according to the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association.
