911 upgrades
Grant County Multi-Agency Communications Center Operations Supervisor Amanda Scott shows off a 911 operator’s workstation, which integrates both incoming 911 emergency phone calls and all first-responder radio frequencies. The agency has 16 full-time 911 operators and eight 911 workstations, of which four will be staffed during an ordinary shift, Scott said.

MOSES LAKE — Grant County’s Multi-Agency Communications Center fielded a record number of calls in May — over 10,000 for the month — according to MACC Technical Services Manager Gerrit Klein.
