Grant County New Jail Site Environmental Cleanup & Asbestos Abatement Grant County Central Service Department Bid Release No. 01 – Site Environmental Cleanup Bid Release No. 02 – Hazardous Material Abatement Bids Due: Tuesday, August 15, 2023, no later than 3:00 PM Lydig Construction, Inc. (the General Contractor/Construction Manager) is requesting sealed proposals from Contractors for the following Bid Packages: BP #01 – Site Environmental Cleanup BP #02 – Hazardous Material Abatement The project consists of construction of an approximately 160,000 s.f. new jail with Sheriff’s office. These early release packages are to clean up the site and abate the existing structures in preparation for building demolition, site grading and site utilities. Bids will be accepted prior to the date and time listed above for this bid release. Bids are to be submitted to Lydig Construction Inc.at 11001 E Montgomery Dr. Spokane Valley, WA 99206. Proposals received after the date and time noted above will not be considered. Bids must be delivered to this address in person. No faxed, mailed, or electronic bids will be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The GC/CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities on the bids received. Deadline for questions prior to bid is August 9, 2023, at 3:00 pm. Attendance at this walkthrough is strongly encouraged as the plans and specifications do not quantify the amount of debris that will require removal from the site.
