November 6, 1938 – July 1, 2023

San Juana Dominguez, 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many, went to be with the Lord July 1, 2023.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1938, in Pharr, Texas, and has resided in Moses Lake, Washington the last 35 years. San Juana was a strong woman of faith. Her career was as a certified nursing assistant where her heart and compassion touched many.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Elisa Garcia; brothers Jose Garcia Jr. and Isidoro Garcia; son Jose Rafael Soto; and grandchildren Amanda Lee De La Rosa and Sonny Salinas. She is survived by her husband Jesus Dominguez Soto; her sister Elida G. Rodriguez; children Jose Carlos Soto (Rosemary), Jose Luis Soto (Christina), Susie Soto, Bernie Soto (Benny), Lupe de la Rosa (Jerry) and Jessica Garcia (Antonio) and adopted Ruben Balderas (Jovita) and Misty Atkins; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and her beloved fur babies Bella and Cata.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Road, Moses Lake Washington. Viewing will be on July 12, 2023, at 9 a.m., Rosary at 10 a.m. and service at 10:30 a.m. with luncheon to follow.

The family of San Juana wishes to extend our sincerest gratitude to Moses Lake EMS, 911 and Samaritan ER and ICU staff for their outstanding compassion shown during this difficult time, and also to Elsa Leon for being the best waitress and friend to her and longtime caregiver Sally Balderas.
