Jan. 20
Report of a vehicle prowl in the 700 block of South Thacker Road, Othello.
Report of a single-vehicle traffic accident in the 2100 block of West Peter Lane, Othello. Driver struck a building and left the scene. The vehicle’s registered owner was contacted and admitted to being the driver.
Jan. 21
Report of a DUI in the area of North Moody and West Tokio roads, Ritzville. Brandon Glen Roetcisoender, 53, of Monroe was arrested on suspicion of physical control DUI.
Jan. 22
Report of a two-vehicle injury collision at West SR 26 and LeMaster Road, Othello.
Report of theft in the 2500 block of West Bench Road, Othello.
Report of a vehicle prowl in the 600 block of South Canal Road, Othello. Several unspecified items were taken.
Jan. 23
Report of a burglary in the 2900 block of West Gillis Road, Othello. Unidentified subjects entered a locked travel trailer and garage, damaged a vehicle’s exhaust system and the trailer door and stole a fountain.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation and found that the driver was driving with a suspended license and had a felony warrant. Alejandro Martinez Mata, 33, of Othello, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree driving with license suspended. Due to booking restrictions, Mata was released.
Jan. 24
Report of a traffic accident in the area of SR 17 and West Hampton Road, Othello. A semi pulling a trailer left the roadway and went into the empty canal. No injuries or property damage were reported.
Report of a traffic accident in the 1200 block of East Timm Lane, Ritzville. A semi truck wheel struck a residence. The residence was damaged but no injuries were reported.
Report of a fire in the 600 block of South Danielle Road, Othello. Petronilo Osorio-Mendoza, 35, of Othello, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree arson and third-degree assault.
Report of theft in the 300 block of West Third Street, Lind.
Jan. 25
Report of a burglary in the 400 block of Bronson Street, Hatton. Unspecified items were taken.
Jan. 26
Deputies conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation in the area of SR 17 and West Providence Road, Othello. Noel Martinez Mata, 31, of Othello was arrested on suspicion of third-degree driving while license suspended, as well as an outside agency arrest warrant. Felipe Michael Garza, 29, or Othello was also arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 395 near Ritzville for a vehicle being driven recklessly. Andrew Christian McMillan, 26, of Walla Walla was cited and released on suspicion of reckless driving.
