Notice of Application & Proposed Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance - Date of Notice: January 25, 2023, Notice is hereby given that a JARPA (Shoreline Substantial Development Permit) Application and SEPA Checklist were received by Grant County on January 10, 2023 from Cherie Harris (Designated Contact: Eldon Broughton, Broughton Construction, LLC, 2403 Westshore Drive NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837) and was found to be technically complete on January 19, 2023. [Grant County expects to issue a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used.] This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. Best management practices for control of erosion and sedimentation shall be implemented for the project. PROJECT: The project is proposing to install an 8’ x 25’ cantilevered dock, install a 9’ x 10’ boatlift adjacent to the dock, with a 60’x4’ freestanding walkway connected to the proposed dock.
