Local wrestlers compete at tournaments across the state
Jeremiah Schmunk Invitational
At the Jeremiah Schmunk Invitational, three local teams finished in the top three spots of the tournament, with Othello placing first with 173 points and Moses Lake and Warden tied in second with 160.5 points. Wahluke finished in eighth place with 52 points.

Boys
The Othello Huskies had another strong showing at the boys Gut Check tournament in Kent, placing fourth out of 56 participating teams with 110 points.

In the girls Gut Check tournament, both Othello and Quincy found themselves inside the top five by the end of the two-day tournament, with Othello (182 points) placing second and the Jacks (86 points) in fifth.

Kelso Girls Tournament
Four local teams traveled to Tri-Cities for the Kelso Girls Tournament last weekend, with Moses Lake placing third (140 points), Royal placing eighth (125 points) and Ephrata and Warden placing 51st and 52nd respectively out of 94 teams.
