On to regionals 2023

Quincy sophomore Crystal Vargas finished third in the District 6 Sub-Regional last week, qualifying her for Saturday’s 2A/1A/2B/1B Region 4 tournament at Rogers High School (Spokane).
Moses Lake senior Ashton Sanchez qualified for regionals in the 220-pound class after a second-place finish at the Columbia Basin Big 9 district meet last weekend.

Othello will wrestle at Warden High School in the 2A/1A/2B/1B Region 3 tournament, while the Tigers travel to Spokane at Rogers High School in the 2A/1A/2B/1B Region 4 tournament.
Warden senior Gio Castro, background, and 13 fellow Cougars will travel to Cowiche for Saturday’s 1B/2B Region 2 tournament at Highland Junior-Senior High School.
Fresh off a district title, Quincy’s Saidt Alvarez and nine other Jackrabbits will compete at Saturday’s 1A Region 4 tournament at Deer Park High School.
Moses Lake freshman Reese Prescott is one of 11 Maverick girls wrestlers to travel to Hanford High School this weekend for the girls 3A/4A Regional 4 tournament.
