Ephrata PD

Dec. 20

Report of a mountain bike valued at approximately $5,000 stolen in the 400 block of Diamond Drive.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at Nat Washington Way and A Street Southeast.

Report of ongoing harassment in the 10 block of Ivy Street Northeast. Reporting party advised a male subject was at her front door and looking inside the home. The subject was contacted and permanently trespassed from the address.

Dec.21

Report of dumpster diving in the 100 block of First Avenue Northeast. Subject was verbally trespassed.

Report of a bicycle found on B Street Northeast between Division Avenue and Nat Washington Way with its serial number partially obscured. Due to heavy wear and tear, the bicycle was disposed of.

Report of an elderly man walking near the overpass in a state of confusion. The man’s grandson arrived as officers were about to give him a ride home.

Report of juveniles setting off firecrackers at the skate park. Juvenile admitted setting off the fireworks and handed over the remaining ones. 

Dec. 22

Report of alcohol stolen from a business in the 200 block of Basin Street Southwest. As officers left the station, they encountered the suspect running toward them in the alley. Suspect was arrested and the merchandise recovered.

Report of a Christmas gift stolen out of a vehicle in the 700 block of Third Avenue Northeast. The discarded packaging was later located but the gift was gone.

Report of alcohol stolen from a business in the 1100 block of Basin Street Southwest.

Dec. 24

Report of a male subject walking the street approaching one home after another. Subject was contacted and said he had been talking to a woman over Facebook who had invited him to come to town to spend Christmas, but she wasn’t at the address she had given him. Subject was informed it had been a scam.
