Dec. 14

Report of a burglary in progress at a residence on Basin Street Southwest. Reporting party said he woke up and found a subject, whom he knew, in the kitchen. Subject left during the call.

Report of theft from a business in the 1300 block of Nat Washington Way.

Dec. 15

Report of a male subject sitting in a vehicle drinking beer in the 1300 block of Basin Street Southwest. Subject advised his truck had broken down and he was waiting for his girlfriend to pick him up. Female subject arrived on scene and drove the male subject home.

Report of a two-vehicle collision in the 1300 block of Nat Washington Way. 

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision in the roundabout at A Street Southeast and SR 282.

Report of male subjects taking pictures of a fence in the 1300 block of Basin Street Northwest.

Report of a hit-and-run at the intersection of Ivy Street and Third Avenue Northeast. Driver 2 advised that driver 1 had immediately fled the scene at a high rate of speed. Driver 1 was later located and identified.

Dec. 16

Report of a vehicle stolen, last seen heading east on Division Avenue East. Vehicle was spotted on Airport Road approaching SR 282. Vehicle was stopped and confirmed to be stolen.

Report of harassment in the 400 block of Basin Street Southwest. Reporting party said the male subject threatened to kill her dogs.

Report of harassment in the 300 block of E Street Northeast.

Report of an attempted vehicle prowl in the 300 block of Sixth Avenue Southeast.

Dec. 18

Report of binoculars valued at approximately $1,200 stolen on C Street Northwest.

Report of a stolen bicycle.

Dec. 19

Report of drugs found in the 1100 block of Basin Street Southwest. Items were logged in for safekeeping and set to be destroyed.

Casey Charles McKinstry, 33, Rock Island, booked on second-degree burglary, third-degree theft and possession of a controlled substance.

Sabreana Marie Emerson, 30, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Dec. 15

Levi Thomas Hanley, 29, felony harassment and fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Macario Mendez Tovar, 67, Royal City, booked on first-degree assault.

Rodolfo Ruiz Mejia, 31, Ephrata, booked on residential burglary.

Jose Villalobos Chavarin, 25, Quincy, booked on DUI and third-degree driving with license suspended, as well as eight Grant County District Court warrants relating to third-degree driving with license suspended and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock.

Dec. 16

Joshua Lawrence Hector, 35, Ephrata, booked on theft of a motor vehicle.

Andres Ignacio Cantu, 23, Othello, booked on DUI.

Luis Carlos Perez, 24, Ephrata, booked on possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and third-degree theft, as well as a Grant County District Court warrant relating to fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Daniel Diego Cervantes, 36, Yakima, booked on second-degree assault – domestic violence and fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Sergio Martinez, 25, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.
