Brent Tilson
Brent E. Tilson, 64, died from cancer Nov. 30, 2023, at his home. He was born in Seattle, Wash., but was raised in Wilbur, Wash., on his family’s hog farm. Brent was the son of Clarence and Mildred Tilson (Jones).
Brent attended Wilbur High School and served in the U.S. Army. After he got out of the Army, he traveled and worked throughout the western United States before getting married to Virginia Walter in Ely, Nev. Brent and Virginia had Christopher and Amanda before separating. Brent moved to Moses Lake and met and married Kathleen McDonald and had Jennifer and Bryon.
Brent spent most of his life in the driver's seat of a semi-tractor. Whether hauling produce, pallets or trash. Brent put many miles under his belt but always enjoyed coming home to his family. In addition to driving truck, Brent also served the community as an Episcopal Priest at Saint Martin’s Episcopal Church in Moses Lake.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Kathleen Tilson.
Surviving are his children, Christopher Tilson of New Mexico with six grandchildren, Amanda Tilson of White Sulphur Springs, Mont., with three grandchildren, Jennifer Schober of Moses Lake, Wash., with three grandchildren, and Bryon Tilson of Warden, Wash., and three grandchildren.
A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St Martin’s Episcopal Church, 416 E. Nelson Road, Moses Lake, Wash. There will be a big rig procession to Kittitas following the reception. All are invited in big rigs or cars.
