Jonathan Lee McDowell
Jonathan, 52, was born in Moses Lake, Wash., to John and Joyce McDowell, who preceded him in death. He grew up in Moses Lake, Wash., and graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1989. In June 1991, he enlisted in the Navy, where he served on the USS Independence and the USS Bunker Hill with an honorable discharge in December 1995. After the Navy, he went to Central Washington University and graduated in 1999 with a bachelor of arts degree in law and justice.
He decided on the career of food and beverage, and began his career with The Moses Lake Golf and Country Club, then at the Walla Walla Country Club, and went on to become the director of food and beverage at Campbell’s Resort in Chelan, Wash.
He was an avid Seahawks fan from birth. He loved watching his son play football most of all. His life revolved around his work, family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Nathan McDowell, his sister Rhonda, Morice (Jay Morice), his nephews, Jordan Morice and Devin Morice, and his niece, Kirstyn Morice.
