Welcome back message from MLSD Superintendent Monty Sabin
Dear MLSD Families,
I am excited to welcome you all back to the start of another school year. It is an exciting time to see and feel the energy generated by students and staff returning to their schools after a summer away from friends and colleagues.
Attracting excellent teachers, administrators, and support staff is the key to making a significant impact on student learning and crucial to our vision of Empowering every student to achieve, believe, and contribute as compassionate citizens. We've been fortunate to have hired some truly outstanding individuals in recent months who will play a pivotal role in helping our students achieve their full potential. It's truly a privilege to have attracted some of the best people in their respective fields to our district.
During my first year in Moses Lake, I have been fortunate enough to have the pleasure of connecting with countless members of our community. Whether it be through attending local school functions or simply running into familiar faces around town, I have relished every opportunity to engage with the friendly individuals who make this area so special.
At this same time last year, I expressed how grateful I felt for being given the chance to serve this community- a sentiment that remains as strong as ever. I sincerely appreciate your support and look forward to working collaboratively with you in our mission to ensure the success and well-being of all.
Monty Sabin
Moses Lake School District Superintendent
