Vivian Michelle Richard, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 18, 2023. She was born May 23, 1960, to Charles and Marcella Richard. She attended school in Orangevale, California; Hermiston, Oregon; and Othello, Washington.

She moved to Moses Lake after living in Hermiston, Oregon and remained here the rest of her life. She was working for Windermere Property Management at the time of her death where she had been dedicated to her tenants and property owners for many years. She was a member of the Lioness Club of Moses Lake for many years, serving as the president of the organization for one term.

Vivian loved her family and spent many weekends camping, crafting, and attending family events and gatherings. She loved seeing her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who she loved fiercely and spoiled a little. She frequented many of Moses Lake’s and Ephrata’s small businesses, such as Lee Theater, Woody’s, Dusty’s In-N-Out, The Ripple, and others.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Lecia Ann Richard, father Charles Richard and nephew, Thomas Melbye.

She is survived by her mother Marcella Richard; sister Charlyne Clark of Ridgefield, Washington; sister Sandra Melbye (Michael) of Moses Lake; sister Kathy Mokler of Kennewick, Washington; five nieces/nephews and 12 great-nieces/-nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in the near future.
