THE OTHELLO SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 147 ADAMS COUNTY, WASHINGTON NOTICE OF MEETING TO CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARING AND ADOPT 2023-2024 BUDGET NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the School District Board of Directors of the Othello School District No. 147, Adams County, Washington. The Othello School District will hold a Special Board Meeting on August 28, 2023, commencing at 6:30 PM. The Board will hold this meeting for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2023-2024 budget in the Othello School District Administration Office, located at 1025 S. 1st Avenue, Othello, Washington. Any person may appear and be heard for or against any part of the 2023-2024 budget, the four-year budget plan, enrollment projections, or the uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.24. Upon conclusion of the meeting, the Board shall fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2023-2024 budget and shall, by resolution, adopt the 2023-2024 budget, the four-year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projection. The Board of Directors will hold a regular board meeting, commencing at 7:00 PM, immediately following the special board meeting to adopt the District’s budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bids, plainly marked “BID FOR SILICA RD. OVERLAY PROJECT, CRP 23-03”, will be received by Grant County Department of Public Works located 124 Enterprise St. S.E., Ephrata, WA, 98823, until 1:00 P.M. Pacific Time, Tuesday, September 12, 2023 and will then and there be opened and publicly read. Grant County is providing access to this scheduled bid opening via WebEx audio Connection only. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. No conditional bid bond will be accepted. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Grant County.
