Masquers to hold gala
The Masquers players in "Once on this Island" in a production the troupe put on last fall. The troupe will be hosting a gala for the community later this month in appreciation for the community's support of the arts.

SOAP LAKE – the Masquers Theatre troupe has announced that it will be holding its annual membership gala on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 6:30 p.m.
In the announcement, the theater troupe said the theme for this year’s event will be based on a board game and will involve attendees dressing up as their favorite characters from the game.
“This year’s gala unveils the captivating theme, “CLUE,” promising an evening of intrigue and excitement as attendees delve into the world of mystery and deduction. Embracing the spirit of inclusivity, the event is open to the public and offers free admission, encouraging all members of the community to come together and support the flourishing arts scene,” the announcement said.
