Wake for Warriors ramps up

CRESCENT BAR – Wake for Warriors, a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 by veterans to support veterans held a fundraiser over the weekend for their efforts to help veterans connect and enjoy life regardless of challenges stemming from their time in service.

According to one organizer, the fundraiser brought in about $17,000, nearly twice last year’s event which brought in about $9,000.
