Notice of Application, Proposed DNS and Public Hearing: August 9, 2023. Notice is hereby given that Grant County is processing the following UDC Amendment Applications and SEPA Checklist (Designated Contact: Jim Anderson-Cook, PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823) and determined these applications to be technically complete on 3/131/2023. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non- Significance for these proposals, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11- 355 is being used. These proposals may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determinations may be obtained upon request. DESCRIPTION: Proposed amendments to Grant County Code Chapters 23.04, Zoning, 23.08, Performance Standards, 24.04 SEPA, 25.04 Permit Application Review Procedures, 24.16 Flood Damage Prevention and 25.02, Definitions. The amendments will repeal the Flood Damage Prevention ordinance and provide updates to align with statutes and policies and to allow Accessory Dwelling Units and Commercial Hospitality Establishments in certain zoning districts throughout Grant County.
