Moses Lake man killed in Monday accident
MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake man was killed Monday in a collision, according to a statement from the Moses Lake Police Department.
Colton Kimmel, 30, was riding his motorcycle westbound in the 1100 block of West Broadway Avenue at about 11:20 a.m. when he collided with a 2019 Subaru, driven by a 65-year-old woman, that had pulled out of a business, according to the statement. Evidence from the scene indicated that Kimmel had been weaving in and out of traffic and exceeding the posted speed limit.
Kimmel was transported to Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the statement. The Washington State Patrol assisted with the documentation of the scene of the crash. No criminal charges are expected.
