New hospital clearly needed

I recently visited Samaritan’s emergency room where I was quickly treated and admitted to the hospital. I received excellent care from Drs. Lockwood, Haigler and Kruger and nurse Chris Hanson in the emergency room. I was blown away by the nursing staff and doctors; they made my experience and stay at the hospital stress-free and comfortable.

While I had an exceptional experience, the need for a new hospital was evident. I was placed in a hall bed while waiting for an emergency room bed to open up (I know many have faced this as well). The need for more space is evident. With the current hospital, creating more space is not an option. If we want care close to home and to attract more services and providers, this new hospital is a no-brainer.
