2 injured in Broadway Ave. accident
MOSES LAKE — Two people were injured in a three-car accident on Broadway Avenue on Thursday, April 13, with one driver taken to Samaritan Hospital, according to Moses Lake Police Department Capt. Mike Williams.
Williams said the accident occurred around 2:45 p.m. Thursday when Carrie Tatum, 47, pulled out to make a left turn onto westbound Broadway Avenue in a 2019 Honda Odyssey from Cedar Street in downtown Moses Lake and failed to yield to a westbound 2012 Toyota Prius driven by Susanne Smock.
Tatum’s car allegedly hit Smock’s, sending it crashing into a 2016 Dodge Charger driven by Kathryn Jones, 69, Williams said. Smock was transported to Samaritan Hospital and Jones was evaluated at the scene, Williams added.
Williams said Tatum was cited for failing to yield to a vehicle.
