February 20, 1970 – March 9, 2023

Eric B. Ramsey was born in Spokane, Washington on Feb. 20, 1970, the first son to Gary and Ruth Ramsey. He passed away in Moses Lake, Washington on March 9, 2023, at the age of 53.

As the middle child, Eric grew up in Juneau, Alaska, Polson, Montana, The Dalles, Oregon and Moses Lake, Washington. His childhood memories in Alaska were some of his favorites. He earned his GED from Salish Kootenai College in Pablo, Montana. He worked in landscaping and scrapping and as a truck driver.

Eric enjoyed cooking for family, fishing, crabbing, exploring, boating, reading and cars. He was a fan of Star Wars, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and Metallica. Teasing was his love language. He loved to tease, and to make jokes, and then laugh about it. He was a proficient user of the F-word, using it liberally as filler whenever he spoke. He portrayed an ornery, tough exterior but once you got to know him better, you knew that he was a big softy and full of laughter and love, especially when it came to his family and friends. He would do almost anything for them.

Eric is survived by the love of his life Melisa Jones; his stepchildren Hannah Bradley, Celeste Whisenhunt, Aleah Jones, Logan Jones, Emily Jones, Katie Jones, Brent Hargrave, Bruce Hargrave, Ron Weaver, Terina Weaver and Amanda Weaver; his sister Leeann Ramsey; his brother Jody Ramsey; his stepsister Jamila James; his father Gary Ramsey; his stepmom Linda Ramsey; his grandchildren Brent Hargrave, Bruce Hargrave, Angel Hargrave, Dakoda Smith, Parker Peterson, Grayson Peterson, Kailey Burke, Alexa Weaver, Aneya Weaver, Hayden Weaver, Sophie Weaver, Gabby Weaver and Edward Weaver; and many loved nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Helms, stepbrother David Richards, nephew Gavin Hayes and stepson Sean Whisenhunt.

A memorial service for Eric will be held on Sunday, April 30 at 3 p.m. at Grace Harvest Church in Moses Lake, Washington.
