June 12, 1936 – April 4, 2023

For 86 years, we were blessed with our husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Born on June 12, 1936, in Gothenburg, Nebraska, after a long struggle of extended illness, on April 4, 2023, he passed in the arms of his beloved wife. Through it all his quick wit shined through. His love for his wife, Kathy, and family is never-ending and always enduring in their hearts. He will also be dearly missed by Richard Dean, Debbie and Greg Whittemore, Diane Essex and Andy Espino, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Part of Eldon's youth was spent serving our country, which he loved dearly. As a U.S. Air Force mechanic, his service included repairing airplanes in a variety of states. After his time in the Air Force, Eldon started his own construction business while farming in his spare time. He made his home in Moses Lake with the people he loved.

If Eldon had to choose between working on the farm or fishing, he preferred farming. However, fishing was dear to his heart too. As an accomplished farmer and avid outdoorsman, he and his family participated in many adventures over the years.

Eldon lives on through those of us who were blessed to know him. From his love of family, appreciation of nature and patriotic spirit, he has definitely left his mark. Though he may be gone, his smile will echo in our hearts forever.
