PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SOLICITATION Request for Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) Beverly Water District Request for Qualification Data to Furnish Engineering Services The Beverly Water District is requesting qualified engineers to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for providing engineering services related to the design and construction administration for the Water System Improvements Project which includes drilling a new well, a new well pump, new booster pumping system, new reservoir, and other miscellaneous improvements. The project budget, including construction, is approximately $2,100,000. Questions regarding this solicitation should be directed to Ms. Carmen Bennett, Office Manager, at (509) 400-0012. Consultant selection will be based upon the following criteria, weighted as indicated: 1) firm experience (15); 2) proposed consultant team (15); 3) project understanding and approach (20); 4) past performance/references (15); 5) familiarity with district and local knowledge (15); and 6) application and administration experience with state funded projects, especially Washington State Department of Health (DOH) Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan (DWSRF) Program (20). Interviews may be held at the district’s discretion. Firms desiring consideration shall submit two copies of their SOQ to the Beverly Water District, PO Box 294, Beverly, WA 99321. The City owns and operates a an extended aeration sanitary wastewater treatment facility with UV disinfection that discharges to rapid infiltration basins and is designed for an average monthly flow of 600,000 gallons per day (gpd) and a maximum daily flow of 1.5 million gallons per day (mgd). The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued. The Department of Ecology is proposing to renew the permit and is hereby issuing public notice of its intent.
