Cheryl Marcella Andrews

March 10, 1950 – September 17, 2022

Cheryl Marcella Andrews, 72 passed away on Sept. 17, 2022 at her home, surrounded by family.

She was a proud member of the Chickasaw Nation and a lifelong resident of Moses Lake. Cheryl attended Moses Lake High School and Big Bend Community College. She graduated from Big Bend Nursing School in the ’70s and worked as an LPN before becoming medically retired. She loved her coworkers, especially the ones who became family, including Maureen, April, Twila, and Faye. She also loved reading, shopping and spending time with loved ones.

She is survived by her husband Richard of 54 years and their five daughters Kim, Kelly (Mike) Kirkendall, Karmen, Kassie (Anthony) Thomas, and Krissie; 10 grandchildren Joey, Kaine, Alec, Kachine, Cheyenne, Isaiah, Kaylee, Lerenz, Kyson and Salishrain and four great grandchildren(Adarius, Kacyn, Kai, and Ozias. She was loved and known by many as Grandma.

She is preceded in death by her two children James and Kammie, brother C.J. Kemp, parents Doug and Ella Mae Kemp, grandparents C.O. and Maude Garrett, and father- and mother-in-law Raymond and Birdie Brown.

The family of Cheryl would like to give special thanks to her dialysis and hospice friends and staff.

A graveside service will be held on Sept. 24, 2022, 11 a.m. at Pioneer Memorial Gardens, 14403 Road 2 NE, Moses Lake, Washington.
